Pride is love — and the fight Isn’t over 🌈

Love, Pride, and the Right to be Seen

This weekend I had the privilege of attending Pride Toronto with my daughter and her beloved. The colours. The music. The defiant joy. The beauty that reminds you why this all matters.

Pride is radiant. It’s love, joy, community, and unapologetic presence.
But it’s also a reminder: even now, even in our backyard, so many are still fighting to be seen, to feel safe, and to live openly as who they truly are.

And that’s why Pride still matters.

Pride is not just a parade. It’s a declaration.
A demand to be seen.
A fight for freedom.
A legacy of resistance.
And a love letter to authenticity — one still being written every day.

Behind every rainbow flag is a story — sometimes of struggle, sometimes of survival, always of courage.

Pride teaches us what it means to show up with truth, with tenderness, with resistance and radiance — all at once.

There is no purpose without people. There is no legacy without love.

And there is nothing more meaningful than standing beside those who are boldly, beautifully living out loud.

With deep respect and boundless love,
Tamara 🏳️‍🌈

It was the kind of conversation that stays with you. One insight, in particular, keeps echoing in my heart: “I feel like I’m getting younger every day—because my life is filled with purpose.” Let that land for a moment. It is for me. This is dangerous, emotionally...

The Power of “What If” “What and if are two words as non-threatening as words can be. But put them together side-by-side and they have the power to haunt you for the rest of your life: What… if?” — Sophie, from the movie Letters to Juliet These two words are deceptively simple. But together? They’re powerful—maybe even life-defining. Sophie, Letters to Juliet: “What if?” — the question that haunts or heals. What if… I lose my job? My plans don’t work out? I never get my business off the...

It’s all connected Truth be told, I’d be nowhere without connections. Not just professional contacts, but real relationships—the ones that expand your perspective, fuel your soul, and send you in a direction you couldn’t have imagined on your own. I’ve been reflecting today on three kinds of connections that have shaped my journey: Those who have selflessly made connections on my behalf Relationships that have sparked and grown beyond their original purpose The beautiful "dot-to-dot" magic...
